What do they think about Michael Bloom and Solaris?

Karl Engemann (retired) A&R Executive, VP Capitol Records (1959-1970) Owner United Management, Clients included The Letterman, Engelbert Humperdinck, Glen Campbell, Larry King, Marie Osmond, Bob Segar, The Beach Boys, Donny Osmond, The Donny and Marie Show, The Osmond Brothers, Shawn Southwick, and was personally responsible for launching the careers and producing The Beach Boys, Bob Segar, Bobby Gentry, Grand Funk Railroad to name just a few; Michael Bloom is a dear friend I think of like a member of my family. Since knowing him (1983) I have worked with him countless times. At first because of need. However, his first body of work with me put him in a high pressure, must deliver situation. He thrived and as a result he literally saved the day. Marie's manager was so impressed (Dick Howard) he signed Michael to The William Morris Agency, Beverly Hills. He's became my "go to" guy ever since. Regardless of focus, he maintains a calm demeanor always, which is rarely seen in others. There are not enough words in my vocabulary to recommend him enough.  Just spend a minute talking with him and you'll begin to understand why I speak so highly of him. 

Bonnie Maffei, Screenwriter; Michael worked with Bonnie in the same group. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Michael on a screenplay adaptation of a short story by Paul Overstreet, titled “Sugarloaf Key”. The final draft will soon be ready to market. I would highly recommend Michael because he is an amazing producer, writer and director with integrity, honesty and the ability to get the job done in the most harmonious way possible. Michael is a hard-working individual with a multitude of talents. As sometimes happens in all of our lives, we encounter unexpected bumps along the way, but Michael and I never lost hope in the project, and always maintained a harmonious connection with each other. I believe in Michael's professional attitude, his integrity, and his determination to get this script into the right hands. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of working with Solaris Entertainment.
