Michael Bloom, CEO & Principal Owner
Michael is the CEO of Solaris Entertainment and Media. He received his BA and MFA from the University of Southern California. He began his career working with David Wolper before launching his solo TV Producer career working with Karl Engemann. Solaris is a first-rate distribution company placing digital media worldwide wherever it is sold and is a primary content supplier to iTunes and Sony. Solaris is an official Sony Indie Label representing some of the best known recording artists in music. Solaris does all post-production work with both music and video in house and creates more than 15 music videos per year for its clients. Michael continues to develop original television program concepts. His first love, however, remains music, and he loves writing and producing artists from all genres and styles.
Charles Hedgepath
Michael invited Charles to join Solaris initially as a recording artist client. Soon after he asked if he'd like to join us allowing him to learn our business and develop into a working partner. Charles is considered one of the best all-around musicians in the Carolinas and beyond. His approach to music is inspiring and fresh, he is highly respected and requested. Michael and Charles have a similar moral compass and shared business values. Michael had been searching for somebody to fill this role for years, and when they met he knew in an instant his search was over.
